Yes, we listened to your feedback from last year!

As another year draws to a close, we celebrate 27 years in practice. The team at Health and Life would like to wish all of our clients, readers and supporters a Merry Christmas and safe holiday and New Year. We could not have done this without you.

It has been a fantastic year, with many new clients and ground-breaking innovations for you.  The year ended with another great honour and highlight: David Dahm being invited to be a judge for the 2019 Telstra Business Women of the Year. 

For all of us, now is a time for reflection with our loved ones. There have been many challenges and highlights throughout the year and now is a great time to take a well-earned rest if you can.

We thank all the healthcare professionals who are working over this period for their dedication and being there for us in our time of need.

This is why we are always here for you. We wish you a very happy and prosperous 2019!

What gets you up in the morning? Through our clients and staff, we have seen that self-awareness is the most important ingredient to happiness and success in life.

Your break is an important time to start with self-reflection: to celebrate your wins and learn from your losses.

We encourage you to use this time to set yourself up for an exciting future!

No matter how great your holiday, the risk is that you come back and feel that you are back to a slog until the next one.

To prevent this, after spending time with loved ones and disconnecting, take time to think about the kind of year you want to have. Think about what really matters to you and what steps you might take to live that way.

Put appointments in your diary for the year – a cooking course, date nights with your partner, Sunday breakfasts with your daughter, the next two holidays, whatever you are seeking – so that your good intentions won’t be washed away by business as usual.

Start using a Google calendar. Focus on working a 4 day week. On the fifth day work on yourself and or on your practice and not in it. You will find this is the most creative time to get things done you never have time for. Use and stick to a mobile interactive calendar such as Google Calendar to help you succeed.

We hope these useful, practical tips will help you de-clutter your thoughts and put in achievable goals for you.
